This forum exists to keep Roxanne Paltauf's story alive, allow people who knew and loved her to share memories, and give the public a respectful place to discuss her case. These guidelines exist to protect that purpose — and to protect everyone who participates.
Our Purpose
Roxanne Paltauf was a real person — a daughter, a sister, a friend. She was 18 years old when she disappeared from Austin, Texas on July 7, 2006. She has never been found.
This forum is dedicated to her memory and to the ongoing effort to find answers. It is not a place for entertainment, speculation divorced from facts, or the pursuit of internet fame. It is a place for people who genuinely care about Roxanne and her family.
The overall tone of this community should be respectful, compassionate, factual, and focused on Roxanne — not on sensationalizing her disappearance.
